I choose me This Valentine’s Day was different than most and one of the best I’ve ever had. I chose to do something in which I’ve come to love and spend it with a very special person while doing it…running and me.

I ran the Hot Chocolate Nashville15k race this morning. Words can’t describe how cold I felt, but in the end my heart was warm and filled with nothing but love and joy. Love for finishing, doing it in record time, and loving me. 10860874_10206347809234016_6931090969181208296_o

Love comes in many different forms, doesn’t encompass one man made day, and shouldn’t be taken for granted. Love is a choice. Today and everyday I choose me.
