It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Yes, even in 2020. The holiday season is upon us. Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa and New Year’s Eve is on deck.
If you celebrate Christmas or even if you don’t, join me for the 12 Days of Veggmas where I’m challenging you to eat at least one vegetarian meal per day or go full vegetarian starting on Wednesday, December 9th and ending on Sunday, December 20th.
Let’s hit the reset button from all of that Thanksgiving food you’ve eaten and thereafter leading up to the week of Christmas. Our bodies naturally detoxes itself on a daily basis if you’re feeding it with nutrient dense foods, fiber and the proper hydration. In other words you stay on the regular lol.
If you need some ideas for vegetarian meals, feel free to scroll my timeline. I post at least 1-2 vegetarian meals per week. You have a couple of days to get your mind right and shop for some healthy ingredients. Try not to get too many processed vegetarian foods. Going vegetarian not only helps your digestive system, it also helps save you coins, calories and reduces your carbon footprint upon the planet.
If you’re already a vegetarian or vegan, challenge yourself by creating 12 days of new recipes and/or meals. You can get in on this holiday challenge too.
Give yourself the gift of life this holiday season by wanting to live and eat better. The time is now. So, who’s in with me?
