Freedom Friday: Speak over your Life
A few weeks ago, I asked the question what is the one word and/or proverb you wanted to speak over your life that would help change and shape the course of your life over the next 365 days. Last year, it was the Year of Yes and the Year of Strength which still holds true for me.
This year’s proverb comes from Dr. Seuss, “Oh, The Places You Will Go,” and my one word is “Thrive,” paired along with the following bible verses.
1 Chronicles 4:10
Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request.
Proverbs 18:16
“A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.”
Proverbs 11:25
“A generous man will prosper; he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed.”
Proverbs 16:3
“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.”
I look forward to all of the places I will go, the people whom I will get to meet, and the areas of opportunity and growth in which I will thrive.
