March is National Nutrition Month where we will get our plates in shape….lose weight and inches with the tape!
Having well balanced, portioned controlled meals and snacks is half the battle in winning the war on weight gain, losing weight, and overall becoming healthy and fit.
People ask what’s more important… eating right vs exercise. While both go hand in hand in achieving good health, having the proper nutrition within your diet and the daily essentials are more important in order to get maximum results. As the old saying goes, you can’t out exercise a bad diet. What’s the point of living in the gym only to get highly processed, fat laden and carb heavy fast food afterwards.
On March 19th, at the Great Hall and Conference Center in Germantown at 4pm, I will be teaching the proper food measurements and techniques in achieving a well balanced meal, how to read food labels, the proper foods to eat, and the 4 P’s of meal planning.
If you’re going to be doing any powerlifting with your fork, you might as well make sure what’s on the end of it does a body good. Hope to see you there!
Happy Wednesday and Hump Day!
